Welcome to the Brandywine Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals!

Founded in 1984, the AFP Brandywine Chapter strives to advance the profession of fundraising and the institution of philanthropy for the public good. We serve the communities of the Brandywine Valley, including Delaware, Southeastern Pennsylvania, Eastern Maryland, and Southwestern New Jersey.

Members include development professionals of all levels, executive directors, funders, and volunteers. Our members represent educational institutions, the arts, health and human services, and environmental agencies.

The Combined Campaign for Justice (CCJ) is a joint fundraising venture of Community Legal Aid Society, Inc., Delaware Volunteer Legal Services and Legal Services Corporation of Delaware, Inc. It is the primary source of annual unrestricted funding for the three agencies which provide free civil legal services to Delaware’s most vulnerable populations to help them meet their basic needs.CCJ is now seeking an individual who will work with CCJ leadership and the Executive Directors of the three agencies to lead efforts to expand fundraising beyond the legal community and into the broader community that the agencies serve.
